In a nutshell its a diary but delve a little closer and you will find a precisely made piece of equipment. On first impression the diary feels like no other, a hardback cover filled with padding makes rugged yet soft to feel.

As soon as the first page is turned you get presented with a stunning picture that draws you in, as you move into the diary you can tell this is something special. Forget your diary on the computer this is still the way you should plan your life.

When you get to the diary, days are layed out from 7am – 8pm on weekdays and five lines of text on weekends. After you have inserted all your events for the month you are greeted with a helpful tip and a scorecard to record your best round of the month.

The tips at the end of each month gives you handy pointers to remember when putting the advice in motion, there are 12 areas they provide to help improve your game. From Driving to strategy, we could all do with a little help now and again. Blacktee have produced a range of full page pictures to compliment and give examples of the golf tips.

At the rear of the book you will find a troubleshooting guide, including tips on slicing & hooking. The ‘How-To’ has four sections including how to break 100. There is also a Basic Rules section and Etiquette of Golf.

Overall we really like the Blacktee Diary and would definitely recommend it to any golf fan and at £15 you will be hard pushed to find any diary that has the same quality as this one plus they are giving a free “AstroPrint” a humorous take of all twelve astrological signs with a golfing twist.
